FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about money, customs, safety and what happens when something goes wrong.

  • 01How do payments work?

In cash, at handover, directly between buyer and traveller: the item price if the traveller bought it, plus the reward you agreed. We take no commission — the money never passes through Puncket.

  • 02Is it safe?

Travellers can earn a verified ID badge, reliability shows how often someone cancels late or doesn't show up, and both sides review every finished deal. You meet in a public place and both confirm the handover in the app.

  • 03What can I ask for?

Everyday things you can buy in a shop — clothes, electronics, cosmetics, parts, books. Weapons, drugs, prescription medicine, cash and anything that breaks customs rules are out; the traveller confirms this before every deal.

  • 04What about customs?

The traveller carries the item as their own luggage, so it has to fit the duty-free allowance of the country they're entering. Keep to personal-use quantities; if duty is due, agree before the trip who pays it.

  • 05How much does it cost?

Using Puncket is free. You pay the traveller the reward you agreed — travellers set a minimum per size, you propose, they can counter — plus the item price if they buy it for you.

  • 06Who orders the item?

Either way works. You can order it to the traveller's address abroad, or the traveller buys it for you and you pay the price on the receipt at handover — up to the limit they set.

  • 07Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancelling is free until 48 hours before the trip and before anything is bought; after that it counts against your reliability. The other side is notified right away.

  • 08What if they don't show up?

Report a problem on the deal. It goes on hold and our team reviews it with both sides; a confirmed no-show is recorded against that person's reliability.

  • 09What if it's the wrong item or damaged?

Check it at the handover, before you pay. If something is off, don't confirm — report a problem instead and we mediate between you. The receipt the traveller uploads is part of the record.

  • 10Who decides a dispute?

A person, not an algorithm. Our team reads the chat, checks the receipt and hears both sides out — and the deal stays on hold until it's resolved.
